How Can You Prevent Enamel Loss?
To prevent the loss of enamel in your mouth, it is important that you are properly cleaning your teeth and seeing your dentist every six months. You can also protect your enamel by avoiding foods and drinks that are highly acidic, and if you do choose to drink one of these beverages, be sure to use a straw so that you are minimizing contact between the liquid and your teeth.
Increasing your water intake throughout the day and chewing on sugar-free gum in between meals can also be beneficial.
